What is cocktails?
Cocktail is the art of mixing two or more ingredients together to achieve a new balance among the diversify ingredients. The main ingredient and basis of it is it must contain one alcoholic spirit like whisky, gin, vodka, rum, tequila, cognac. Normally robust spirit will contain more 50% or more of the entire cocktail volume.
One of the derivations from cocktail is non-alcoholic drinks, called mocktails.
Cocktail is an creative drink that bartender usually add in complementary flavors like bitters, fruit juice, soda, sugar, honey, milk, or herbs for more aromatic smell and taste. These mixtures are then shaken well with shaker together with ice or blender, depending on the drink. Most of the time, cocktails are serve in cold.

Whisky or Whiskey
There are many varieties of whisky based on the maker such as America, Australia, Canada, German, Scotland and Ireland. Whisky is distilled via barley, rye, oats, whole wheat and aged in wooden casks. Generally, whiskies or whiskeys are categorized into single malt of blended.
Vodka
Vodka is distilled from fermented substances like barley, grains, wheat, and rye, and occasionally with sugar or fruits. It is one of the famous and commonly used ingredient for cocktails.
Tequila
Tequila is a Mexican made spirit mainly made from the blue agave plant from western Mexican state of Jalisco. Mexicans like to drink tequila purely at normal temperature with additional of lemon and little salt.
Cognac
Cognac is one kind of brandy named after the city of Cognac in France. Cognac is a distilled alcohol from certain grapes. It must be aged in oak for at least two years before ready for selling in market. Depend on years of aging, it can be classified as VS (Very Special, for at least two years old), VSOP (Very Special Old Pale, for at least four years old,) or Napoleon, XO (Extra Old, for least six years old).
